Accessibility statement

Approach

The accessibility target for this website is WCAG 2.2 Level AA, with a 7:1 contrast target for ordinary text. The site supports keyboard navigation, text enlargement and reduced-motion preferences.

Automated checks cover page structure, labels, links, controls and text contrast in both themes. They do not establish full conformance. Reading order and image descriptions also need manual review. Keyboard use and browser zoom up to 400 percent have been checked in Chrome; screen-reader output has not been verified.

Accessibility features

• Keyboard navigation

  Use Tab to move between links and controls. On wider screens, the Keyboard shortcuts button in the header opens a list of shortcuts. Single-key shortcuts are off by default and can be turned on in that list.

• Skip links

  The first keyboard links lead to the main content and footer.

• Color contrast

  Ordinary text is checked against a 7:1 contrast target. The site also supports the Windows high-contrast (forced colors) mode.

• Dark mode

  The site follows your system color scheme. You can choose light or dark mode in the header.

• Reduced motion

  When your system requests reduced motion, animations and transitions are turned off and the homepage shows a still image. Otherwise the homepage image moves for about four seconds when the page opens or another scene is chosen, and the button on the image pauses, resumes or replays the motion.

• Screen reader support

  Pages use headings and labeled navigation regions, and form controls have accessible labels. Form errors and other status changes can be announced by assistive technology.

• Responsive design

  The layout adjusts to the screen width, and text can be enlarged with browser zoom.
